Springer is an exciting Lady who likes to try her hand at many
occupations, pastimes and hobbies in general. This fuels her
mind in fantasy and brings us the delectable books we crave to

Bio
Jan Springer is a published award winning, best selling author.
She’s become addicted to penning sizzling erotic romances and
currently writes full time for Ellora’s Cave. Jan is a member of
The Romance Writers of America and with Passionate Ink (RWA’s
erotic romance chapter).
Before following her life-long dream of becoming a writer, she
pursued several careers which included securing a diploma in
Accounting & Finance, pursuing an Accounting career, dabbling in
truck driving, doing a short stint in hairstyling as well as
working in several factories and offices. Jan also worked
several years on an apple farm.
Her hobbies include kayaking, hiking, ghost town hunting,
photography, gardening, eating hot fudge sundaes, reading and
writing. She now enjoys the rural life on four gorgeous acres of
land tucked away in the picturesque Haliburton Highlands,
Ontario Canada.

What is your favorite color?
Everything that has yellow in it. Yellow is cheerful, sunny and
happy. I’ve loved that scrumptious color since I can remember.
What is your favorite quote?
“You haven’t failed…until you quit.”
What is your favorite pastime?
I love to garden. Especially vegetable gardening and in the fall
I love to can the vegetables from my garden.
What music do you listen to?
All kinds of music. Rock, country, anything that moves me. I
love Shania Twain, Celine Dione, Loverboy, John Lennon, The
Beatles, Beach Boys & Elvis to name a few.
What is your favorite kind of movie?
I like something with lots of action. Sylvester Stallone’s First
Blood, Keanu Reed in Speed, Hugh Jackman in Swordfish, Harrison
Ford – Witness. The Final Destination series, Friday the 13th
series. These are movies that keep me riveted.
What books do you like to read?
Racy books with lots of romance, suspense and sexual tension.
Anything with a juicy plot. Books by Lora Leigh, Ann Jacobs,
Karen Anders & Gayle Wilson to name a few.
What are you reading now?
Shiloh Walkers – The Hunters (the beginning) Love it!
What are your favorite scenes to write?
I must admit I am addicted to writing ménage scenes. *blush*
What advice can your give for an aspiring writer?
I would suggest to study the craft of writing. Take creative
writing workshops. Read lots of the types of books you want to
write yourself. And most of all never give up. You haven't
failed, until you quit.
