“Red Garnier has just
earned herself a slot on my
“Willing to spend my rent money on” list of authors."
~ Fallen Angel Reviews
About
Red
Garnier is an erotic romance author whose first book
released from Ellora's Cave Publishing in May 2007 to receive a
Fallen Angel Recommended Read.
She writes fun and sexy erotic contemporaries as well as
paranormals, which can range from dark and emotionally intense,
to witty and fun and sweet as cherries! Whatever she's writing
at the time, Red loves to sit down with her characters and let
them take things from there.
Bio
Red
Garnier is a lover of love, laughter, and hot, steamy sex.
She lives with her husband - the love of her life, her very own
hero! - and is a proud mother of two.
She was born to write, to say what's on her mind, and to make a
few tongues wag along the way. When Red is not writing, she's
probably found with her face glued to a sizzling romance book.
Red loves to read and to write in the many genres of romance.

What
is your favorite color?
Most definitely red!
What is your favorite pastime?
I love reading, love listening to music and spending time
with my family. Recently I've taken up yoga and have found it
amazing, both relaxing and empowering. I love it.
What music do you listen to?
Depends on my mood, but I usually enjoy all kinds of music.
If I'm in a mental jam and don't know where to take a scene,
music never fails to help stir things up.
What is your favorite kind of movies?
You won't believe this, but I just love period movies and
romantic dramas. You can't beat those!
What books do you like to read?
All kinds of romances. I fell in love with the genre ever
since I was a teen. I might also read other kinds of books,
suspense novels, classic literary pieces, but there's no book I
enjoy more than a romance.
What are your favorite scenes to write?
The passionate scenes are the best. Where there's a tug and
pull of yes, no, yes, no, kiss me, no...oh, I love that! When
the emotions are conflicting between the two, and the hero and
heroine's wills tested, now that's a scene.
Who are your favorite authors?
Oh, my, well I have so many! Jude Deveraux is my longtime
favorite, as well as Julie Garwood, Judith McNaught, and Johanna
Lindsday. Curiously these are the very first authors I read, and
even now, I will read any book they put out.
What is your favorite genre to write?
Everything, as long as it's romance. I have amazing fun
writing romantic comedy, as in BONA FIDE LIAR, while I also
enjoy dabbling in the paranormal, as in AMATISTA. Erotica comes
natural to me, as in The Devilish Games series, which is a genre
I also enjoy writing very much. As long as we've got two people
falling in love, I'll write it.
What are your favorite books on writing?
I think Stephen King's ON WRITING is a fantastic book, full
of insight and great tips for writers
